Personal Vision

I envision myself as a leader in education and civics working towards societal awareness and community activism. I seek and support the creation of sustainable communities, supported by their members, beneficiaries and their government. This includes their continuous movement towards being in spaces where people feel safe, have access to education and understand and utilize the resources available to them.

Action Plan

    To achieve this end, I will need to gain a strong education and to maintain relationships with those who can influence change in places I cannot. I will also need to develop and hold onto moral characteristics like being honest, responsible, respectful, rigorous, real, courageous, considerate, caring and remaining resolute in these practices.

        In 20 years I foresee myself climbing the administrative hierarchy of a local nonprofit, potentially a school, having graduated from college and gone on to receive either my masters degree or teachers credential. Beginning with a degree in film I will move from field to field taking with me all of my knowledge and experience where ever I go.

    I will live comfortably, making ends meet and saving a small portion of my funds for rainy days. I will find joy in the work I do, and even more happiness in the ways I spend my free time. As my film making takes me around the world and my work as an educator lets me do the same for the minds of my students, I will be satisfied with my contributions to my community though always on the look out for more opportunities to serve and support the progression of the greater good.
